Team David exists to help propel David Richert towards competing against the best race car drivers in the world.  At the same time, Team David is putting an equal effort into providing clean drinking water for many people around the planet.

This season, Team David has chosen to work together with Samaritan's Purse to help provide clean water to people around the world who would not have access to it otherwise.  A BioSand Water Filter can provide clean water for 8 to 10 people and costs around $100 to construct from start to finish.

Our goal is to have success not only on the racetrack, but to construct a minimum of 60 BioSand Walter Filters while doing so.  For every minute that David Richert's car is competing on-track in an Official Jetta TDI Cup race, Team David will donate $1 towards this project.  With many groups/individuals already agreeing to match Team David's amount, the goal of $6,000 is very achievable.
